DELORAINE FESTIVAL
Good Luck to our students who will be performing piano solos next week at The Deloraine Festival.  We will be having a Hallway Huddle on Monday afternoon so the students can perform for us before they head to Deloraine.

CAMP BRIDGES
Application forms are available at the office for this camp.  Camp Bridges is open to any child in Manitoba, aged 7 ñ 17 years, who is grieving the death of someone significant in their lives.

Camp Bridges will provide a safe environment where the campers have opportunities to interact and share their feelings with other children in similar circumstances.  They may learn to understand their grief, recognize that they are not alone, and that their feelings are normal.  The camp is not designed to provide grief therapy, but we will acknowledge the loss and grief, honour memories, and have some fun, too.

Some of the activities available are archery, wall climbing, memorial activities, hiking and campfires.

Camper registrations must be received by May 14, 2010.  There is no cost for the camp.

They are always looking for volunteers who are interested in assisting with the camp.  Those applications are also available in the office.

KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION
The school is now accepting registration for Kindergarten students for the 2010-2011 school year.  Parents who have children of Kindergarten age are asked to register these children with the school secretary between 8:00 a.m. ñ 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday at the school office.  Parents are asked to bring their childís birth certificate when they come to register.  Children must be five years of age on or before December 31st, 2010.  Anyone who is aware of neighbors and friends who may have children ready to begin Kindergarten in the fall are asked to pass the message on to them to assist with our school planning.

CAN YOU HELP?
Does anyone have a white turtleneck size 10 to 16 that grade 5 could borrow for our production?  It seems they are impossible to buy at this time of year.  Please mark your name in it so that we do not misplace it.  Thank you.
        ïMrs. Carol Turner
