NEWS FROM THE OFFICE
We celebrated Manitoba Day at Souris School on Wednesday, May 12th, 2010.  Mrs. Averill Whitfield, along with Mrs. Barb Falloon and Mrs. Glenda McConnell put together a great program.  Our students received A short history lesson about Manitobaís birthday and sang a number of songs to celebrate the day.

Once again, thank you for the great day.

We had a good turnout Wednesday evening for the proposed Middle Years electives for next year.  The information and comments that evening indicate to us that we are on the right track and will be implementing these electives next year.  Please get your forms in as soon as possible.

We had a number of students write the AP Biology exam this past Monday.  This is a first for Souris School; we hope the experience of writing a University level exam will help prepare our students for what is ahead.  A huge thank you goes out to Mr. Feschuk for bringing this course to our students.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call me directly at 483-6230.
ïMr. Bob Young
